Michigan lands commitment from 2020 QB out of New York on first day of Early Signing Period

Michigan is still adding to its 2020 class late on the first day of the Early Signing Period.

Wednesday was a successful day for the Wolverines as Jim Harbaugh’s squad added a total of 21 signees to their 2020 class. Based on the team rankings by 247 Sports, Michigan’s class ranks 12th in the nation and is the second-highest ranked class in the B1G.

That is definitely a great way to kick off the ESP, but Michigan still added another player Wednesday evening. This time, it came from Dan Villari, a three-star QB out of New York.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Villari is the No. 12 player from the state of New York for 2020. He joins JD Johnson out of Arizona as 2020 QBs to commit to the Wolverines, but neither has signed yet. Michigan was Villari’s lone B1G offer with Albany, UMass, and Kent State among his other offers.
