One of the top 30 linebackers in the 2020 recruiting class is a Michigan Wolverine.

Thursday morning, Nikhai Hill-Green announced his decision to commit to UM, becoming the eighth prospect in the 2020 class to give his verbal pledge. He made his announcement through a video he posted on Twitter.

Hill-Green is a three-star prospect out of Baltimore, Maryland who had over two dozen offers. He’s ranked as a top 30 linebacker in the class and a top 15 prospect out of Maryland. Overall, Hill-Green ranks as one of the top 400 players in the 2020 class.

Hill-Green had offers from six B1G schools, choosing the Wolverines over Purdue, Indiana, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Nebraska. Hes the third linebacker to join Michigan’s class, along with fellow Baltimore native and four-star prospect Osman Savage and three-star inside linebacker Cornell Wheeler.

With the commitment from Hill-Green, Michigan’s 2020 class ranks 18th nationally and fifth in the B1G.
