Michigan just made a huge pickup in the class of 2027.
The Wolverines have earned a commitment from 4-star offensive lineman Lincoln Mageo. The talented lineman committed to Michigan over other finalists Utah and Washington.

Mageo is a big addition for Michigan. He currently ranks as the No. 369 overall player and the No. 19 interior offensive lineman in the nation for the class of 2027, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
A California native, Michigan was able to win this recruiting battle despite being at a significant proximity disadvantage compared to Utah, Washington and some of the other top programs who showed interest in Mageo.
In addition to the schools previously mentioned, Mageo took official visits to Texas and UCLA before making his decision. USC also offered him a scholarship earlier in his recruitment.
Mageo attends Oceanside High School in Oceanside, California. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 280 pounds.
Michigan is now up to 21 commitments in the class of 2027, but still has several more months to add to its group before signing day. The Wolverines’ class is led by 4-star wide receiver Quentin Burrell.
Michigan’s 2027 class currently ranks in the top 20 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
