Michigan gained a transfer commitment from former Arizona State transfer LaDarius Henderson. Henderson played OL for the Sun Devils from 2019-2022.

Henderson broke the news from his social media account on Tuesday. Henderson played in six games this season and started all 13 games last season at LG.

“After much prayer and thought. I will be spending the last chapter of my college journey at The University of Michigan! GO BLUE!” said Henderson.

The Sun Devils finished the season at 3-9 after dropping their last four games of the regular season. Former HC Herm Edwards was fired following a loss to Eastern Michigan on Sept. 17.

Michigan will welcome the veteran presence of Henderson on the offensive line. Henderson joins an offensive line that had a big part in the success of the Michigan offense this season. The Wolverines averaged 453.5 total offensive yards per game in 2022.

Michigan has proved it can go to the portal and have success in the past, bringing on Olusegun Oluwatimi from Virginia this past season.
