Michigan star linebacker Devin Bush will not be in the maize and blue for the 2019.
Wednesday morning, Bush announced that he will forgo his senior season in Ann Arbor and began preparing for the 2019 NFL Draft. He was named the B1G’s Linebacker of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year for the 2018 season. Bush also received recognition as an All-B1G selection and All-American pick.
Bush cited his latest hip injury as the driving force behind his decision to start preparing for the NFL Draft. He suffered the injury against Ohio State.

Bush has not been cleared to practice or play in the Peach Bowl due to the hip injury, according to his statement.
In three seasons with the Wolverines, Bush totaled 193 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 10 sacks. This season, the linebacker led the team with 79 stops and totaled nine tackles for loss and five sacks.
Michigan finished the year 10-2 and ranked No. 7 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Bush joins teammate and defensive lineman Rashan Gary, who has also declared for the NFL Draft. Gary will not participate in the Peach Bowl.
