On Tuesday, Michigan’s Cameron McGrone announced he is entering the 2021 NFL Draft.
A two-year starter at linebacker for the Wolverines, the junior was part of Michigan’s 2018 recruiting class, and at the start of 2019 emerged as a starter after Josh Ross was injured.
McGrone tallied 65 tackles, nine for a loss and 2.5 sacks after taking over the middle of the defense.
In 2020, McGrone once again started at middle linebacker, but had his season cut short due an injury during the Wolverines game with Rutgers. He ended the season with 26 tackles, two for loss as 2.5 sacks.
McGrone released his announcement over his Twitter account.
