Michigan doesn’t like Michigan State very much.
And, well, the Spartans don’t like the Wolverines, either. That’s just common knowledge.
However, some things are indeed bigger than sports (we’ve probably learned that over the last few months). One of those topics is overall health. With the COVID-19 pandemic in mind, many are taking the precautions of wearing masks to help prevent the spread of the disease.
Both Michigan and Michigan State are on board with this, and on Wednesday, Michigan State football’s official Twitter account released a video showing the two schools and their support for telling the entire state of Michigan to wear a mask with the hashtag #MaskUpMichigan:

The message is simple. It’s on us to follow through with helping get sports back to whatever the new “normal” may be.
