Michigan is 1 of 3 teams still in the mix for 4-star cornerback Jameer Grimsley.
The talented cornerback announced his finalists on Thursday morning, just a couple of days ahead of his commitment on Saturday. In addition to Michigan, he’s also still considering Alabama and Florida.

Grimsley is one of the top players in the country at his position. He’s the No. 233 overall player and the No. 18 cornerback nationally for the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 36 player from the Sunshine State.
He attends Tampa Catholic High School in Tampa, Fla. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds.
Grimsley took an official visit to Ann Arbor last weekend. He’s also taken trips to Alabama, Florida State, Penn State and North Carolina during the month of June.
Michigan has 24 commits in the class of 2024 so far. The group sits at No. 3 in the nation, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
