We have a tight game in Indianapolis.

Michigan owns a 27-26 lead on Ohio State in Saturday afternoon’s semifinal game from Lucas Oil Stadium. It’s been a back-and-forth contest, with neither team giving an inch.

Franz Wagner was the high-scorer for Michigan in the first half, finishing with 8 points through the first 20 minutes. Hunter Dickinson had 6 points, Brandon Johns Jr. scored 5, Eli Brooks chipped in 4 and Mike Smith added 2. The Wolverines are without second-leading scorer Isaiah Livers.

Ohio State was led by Justice Sueing, who had a team-high 6 points in the first half. Duane Washington Jr. and E.J. Liddell each had 5 and Justin Ahrens scored 3. The Buckeyes did not have Kyle Young on the floor, either.

Saturday’s matchup marks just the second time the two teams have played this season. Michigan won the regular season battle in Columbus.

The winner of Saturday’s game will take on the winner of Illinois-Iowa for the B1G Tournament title.
