Michigan OL Trevor Keegan discusses the main difference between Wolverines team this season vs. 2021

Michigan is looking for a 2nd straight B1G Championship Game victory as it takes on Purdue on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. A win will also secure a spot in the College Football Playoff for Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines for a 2nd straight season, where they’ll undoubtedly be looking to erase the memories of a blowout loss to Georgia in the Orange Bowl semifinal.
Part of Michigan’s success has been thanks to its offensive line, including left guard Trevor Keegan. While last year’s Wolverines team was coming off a 2-4 season in 2020 and with Harbaugh’s coaching abilities being called into question, they surged to a 12-2 mark, including their first ever CFP appearance and a first B1G title since 2004.
This year, the Wolverines are right back in the mix.
“Last year, we were trying to show everybody who we were, trying to prove everybody wrong. This year, we expect to win. We expect to dominate. It’s ingrained in us. That’s how our head coach wants it to be and how we do it,” Keegan told 247Sports’ Alejandro Zúñiga when asked about the difference between the team from last year versus the current one.
The 12-0 Wolverines face the 8-4 Boilermakers in Indianapolis on Saturday, an 8 p.m. ET kickoff on FOX.
