Michigan is a slight favorite in its marquee matchup vs. Washington in Week 2.

According to DraftKings, the Wolverines are five-point favorites against Washington this upcoming weekend. The line opened at Michigan -4.5, so there’s already been some slight movement.

These two teams enter Week 2 on completely different trajectories.

Michigan housed Western Michigan 47-14 in Week 1. Cade McNamara looked solid, completing 9-of-11 passes for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Wolverines also got big contributors on the ground from Blake Corum and AJ Henning. Corum rushed 14 times for 111 yards and a touchdown. Henning had one carry, which he took 74 yards to the end zone. Hassan Haskins also rushed the ball 13 times for 70 yards and 1 touchdown.

On the other side, Washington was the victim of one of the biggest upsets in the country in Week 1. The Huskies fell 13-7 at home against FCS foe Montana.

Washington quarterback Dylan Morris completed 27-of-46 passes, but threw three interceptions and zero touchdowns. The Huskies’ leading rusher, Richard Newton, averaged just 3.6 yards per carry.

Kick off from Ann Arbor is at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday night. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
