Michigan players appeared to be hit with pepper spray by Ohio PD on the field following the Wolverines’ 13-10 win over No. 2 Ohio State.
As staff and police attempted to separate the 2 teams from a massive midfield brawl, multiple Michigan players were spotted on the ground and on the sideline who had been hit with pepper spray. According to CBS Sports’ Brandon Marcello, officers built a human wall at the 50-yard-line to separate the 2 teams while several players and even one photographer were caught in the spray.

Michigan won its fourth straight over Ohio State in the series. The fight broke out after the game went final and Michigan players attempted to plant a U-M flag at midfield.
After the game, Michigan running back Kalel Mullings called out the behavior from the Buckeyes.
“For such a great game, you hate to see stuff like that after the game,” Mullings said. “It’s just bad for the sport, bad for college football but at the end of the day, they gotta learn how to lose, man. You can’t be fighting and stuff just because you lost a game.”
