Michigan quarterback Brandon Peters had to be carted off the field at Camp Randall Stadium after suffering a hard hit by a Wisconsin defender.
After releasing the football, Peters took a big shot from a Badgers defender, landing awkwardly on the turf. The freshman remained on the field for several minutes and was tended to by Michigan medical staffers. Unable to leave the field on his own power, Peters was carted off the field.
There was no specification as to what the injury was, but it did appear to be in the upper body.

Peters had started the last three games for the Wolverines and had been “playing the kind of football” Michigan likes, according to head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Before leaving the game, Peters completed 9-of-18 passes for 157 yards. Senior John O’Korn came in to replace Peters under center.
Brandon Peters has been carted off to the locker room.
