Michigan QB John O’Korn fires back at Braylon Edwards for critical tweet

The comments made on Twitter by former All-American and Michigan wide receiver Braylon Edwards finally caught the attention of quarterback John O’Korn. And, needless to say, he was too pleased with what the former UM star had to say.
During Michigan’s 24-10 loss against Wisconsin on Saturday, Edwards fired off a series of tweets criticizing O’Korn’s play. In one tweet, he even asked who “approved his scholarship and transfer.”

At first, the tweet was seen by receiver Khalid Hill, who stepped in and stood up for his teammate.

Now, O’Korn is standing up for himself and sent out a message of his own.

Who would’ve thought the week before Michigan plays Ohio State that current Wolverines would be feuding with former players?
Edwards is considered a legend in his own right, tallying more than 3,500 yards and 39 touchdowns at Michigan in the early 2000s. He’s often regarded as the best receiver in program history and one of the top players the B1G has ever seen.
O’Korn has had his struggles this season, but Michigan has seen two of its quarterbacks injured this season. Wilton Speight was injured in the B1G opener against Purdue and Peters went down midway through last Saturday’s game against Wisconsin.
Edwards isn’t exactly providing the type of support that Michigan would like to see from one of its ex-players.
