Michigan backup quarterback Alan Bowman announced Thursday that he would be entering the transfer portal for a 2nd time. Bowman spent 3 years at Texas Tech before committing to Michigan 2 years ago. Now, he’s back in the portal.

This next year will be Bowman’s final in college football. The former 3-star prospect from Grapevine, Texas, in-between Dallas and Fort Worth, was rated as the No. 2,818 recruit in the 2018 cycle according to the On3Sports Consensus rankings.

Bowman saw success at Texas Tech in his 3 years there, totaling 5,260 passing yards and 33 touchdowns with 18 interceptions. At Michigan, Bowman completed only 8 passes for 69 yards and 1 touchdown.
