Michigan recognized inside Yost Ice Arena after returning from The Game

Michigan traveled away from Ann Arbor for this year’s version of The Game. Even away from home, Ohio State was no match for the Wolverines.
Instead of Ohio State rolling to a big win, it was Sherrone Moore and Michigan who entirely flipped the script on the Buckeyes. After entering halftime with a 10-all tie, the Wolverines shut out Ohio State in the second half with a staunch defense.
Late in the game, Kalel Mullings provided the big play when needed with a dramatic carry on 3rd-and-6 setting up the game-winning field goal. Now, Michigan can return home with its regular season complete but as victors in the rivalry series once again.
And, just like the team did after a win in 2022, Moore’s group returned to Ann Arbor and went straight to Yost Ice Arena where Michigan hockey was facing Western Michigan. The Wolverines football team was recognized during the first intermission with a proper victors welcome.

Michigan is now on a 4-game winning streak in the rivalry for the first time in over 30 years with the last winning streak of that length coming across 1988-91. Without a trip to the Playoff in view, the 7-5 Wolverines will now wait to find out where they will be playing in Bowl Season.
