Michigan did something it has not done in a couple of decades, win a game in Columbus. The Athletics’s Matt Brown revealed that Michigan had a few more accolades in the win.

Michigan beat Ohio State Saturday 45-23. It was the first time that the Wolverines had beaten the Buckeyes since 2000.

This was also the first time that Michigan has beaten Ohio State in back-to-back seasons since 1999 and 2000. The 45-23 victory was also the largest win over Ohio State since 1993. That season Michigan beat Ohio State 28-0.

Along with snapping a losing streak in Columbus, Michigan also put up the most points against Ohio State there since 1976. The 1976 win was also a shutout like 1993, except Michigan scored 22 points instead of 28.

Could the rivalry be starting to shift in favor of Michigan? The Wolverines are doing things in the series that haven’t been done in many years.

Michigan fans need to enjoy this moment while they still can.
