After previously committing to San Diego State, Chandler (AZ) long snapper Hank Pepper has signed with Michigan State on the 2nd day of the early signing period.
A linebacker in high school, Pepper is expected to see action as a long-snapper for the Spartans.
The 6-foot-2, 205 pounder was ranked among the top 10 linebackers in Arizona for the 2020-21 school year, according to the Arizona Republic.
Michigan State had already made some noise as the early signing period started, landing quarterback transfer from Temple, Anthony Russo.
The announcement marks another solid signing for the Spartans, after they were able to flip four-star linebacker Ma’a Gaoteote, who had previously committed to USC, on Wednesday.
