The ‘Stripe the Stadium’ game is a yearly tradition for Michigan State and another example of B1G schools getting engagement from their devoted fan bases. Another example of this in the B1G are Penn State’s annual whiteout games.
This is the second consecutive season that Michigan State will open its season on a Friday night as they opened the 2021 season on the road versus Northwestern. Michigan State is currently a 21.5-point favorite over Western Michigan, according to FanDuel.
