Michigan State announces team awards at 2018 banquet

Was 2018 remarkable or a complete failure?

For Michigan State, it’s a complicated answer. Of course the Spartans didn’t want to end the 2018 regular season with a 7-5 record, but going 5-4 in the Big Ten isn’t exactly a disaster.

The key to it all is the story of the injuries. Who didn’t get hurt?

That’s probably a better question to ask as opposed to who actually did. Despite it all, The Spartans will be playing in a bowl game to be determined. The game itself can help the program vault into next year, and maybe more importantly, provide the team with extra practice time in the winter.

Following the end of the team’s regular season — which concluded with a 14-10 win over Rutgers — Michigan State hosted its annual awards banquet for the team.
