Michigan State attempts a fake field goal and it didn’t end well

It’s been an interesting week for fake punts and fake field goals. Apparently Mark Dantonio wanted to get in on the fad.

After a Lorenzo Harrison fumble with less than 20 seconds left in the half, Michigan State was able to get into field goal range for Michael Geiger. With one second left, the Spartans lined up in field goal formation. What happened next, well, we’re not really sure what happened next.

Here’s what it looked like:

Things haven’t been good for Michigan State this year. This play pretty much sums up how desperate the Spartans are for a win.
