Michigan State has been incredibly unlucky with injuries this season.
Whether it be to offensive linemen, defensive players, wide receivers and even its starting QB, Brian Lewerke, the Spartans have gotten plenty of bad news when it comes to health. Tuesday afternoon, Lewerke didn’t give any details on how much he threw during practice. Nobody’s sure if Lewerke will start Saturday against Purdue.
After the news on Lewerke, it came out that Spartans center Matt Allen was another player taking an assumed turn for the worse:
Also, MSU C Matt Allen was spotted on campus using crutches and wearing a walking boot on his left foot.

As Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press tweeted, Allen left the game against Michigan with an injury and was replaced. Allen being on crutches and a walking boot isn’t exactly a good sign.
Kickoff against Purdue is set for noon at Spartan Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN.
