A Michigan State defensive end has put his name in the transfer portal, head coach Mark Dantonio told Matt Wenzel of MLive on Wednesday.
Fifth-year senior Justice Alexander is exploring other opportunities to finish his college football career. He’s not listed on Michigan State’s spring roster currently as he considers his options.
Alexander did not see the field for the Spartans in 2018 and has played in just two career games since arriving in East Lansing in 2015.

Alexander was a member of Michigan State’s 2015 recruiting class. As a prospect, the Ohio native was ranked as the No. 44 weak-side defensive end in the cycle, per 247Sports. He is a former three-star prospect.
Over the last four seasons, Alexander has played in just two career games, making one appearance in 2016 (Rutgers) and 2017 (Bowling Green). He has registered four tackles in those two games.
In 2015, Alexander was redshirted as a true freshman. There was no information regarding possible transfer destinations.
