The Spartans continue to kill it on the recruiting trail with another commitment coming in on Sunday.

4-star ATH Jaden Mangham is from Franklin, Michigan, and attended Wylie E. Groves high school. Mangham announced that he will be headed to East Lansing in a creative commitment video.

According to 247 Sports, Mangham is the 12th best ATH in the nation and the 7th best prospect overall out of Michigan. Mangham is the second-best recruit in the class of 2022 for the Spartans. He also gives the Spartans 3 out of Michigan’s top 10 recruits for 2022.

Mel Tucker has done a good job so far recruiting in the state of Michigan.

Michigan State’s current recruiting class ranks 23rd nationally and 6th in the B1G.

The Spartans beat out Illinois, Nebraska and in-state rival Michigan to get Mangham.

The Spartans last season finished 2-5 in the B1G’s abbreviated season in Mel Tucker’s first season as head coach of Sparty. Their two wins last season came against Michigan and Northwestern.

Michigan State will have a tough test to open the season as they will be on the road to take on the defending B1G West champions Northwestern Wildcats on Friday, Sept. 3rd in Evanston.
