Michigan State picked up a commitment from 2023 athlete Aziah Johnson on Wednesday. Johnson chose the Spartans after receiving multiple Power 5 offers from around the country per WTVR CBS Sports 6 Sean Robertson.
Johnson is a 3-star athlete per the 247Sports Composite. He is the No. 80 athlete and No. 28 Virginia prospect in his class. Johnson picked the Spartans over the likes of South Carolina, East Carolina, Duke, and Virginia Tech.

247Sports has the Spartans 2023 class ranked at No. 43 overall. Michigan State has the sixth-best 2023 class among B1G schools with nine 4-star commits and two 3-star commits.
Johnson is a very versatile player who has been at WR, CB, or even FS at times. The 6-foot-2, 175 pound athlete can do a lot of things on the football field.
