Michigan State has released who will be the captains for the Week 7 game with Wisconsin. It’ll be homecoming weekend in East Lansing.
Punter Bryce Baringer, OL J.D. Duplain, and LB Jacoby Windmon are going to the captains against the Badgers.
Windmon has been one of the better transfers in the B1G this season. Windmon leads the Spartans in sacks (5.5) and also has 26 total tackles, 5 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery.
Baringer has done a great job of changing field position this season. The Michigan State punter has had an average of 52 yards per punt and a season-long of 70 yards so far. Baringer has also been to make 10 of his punts land inside the opposing 20-yard line this season.
The Spartans will be leaning on upperclassmen leadership it seems as Duplain is also a senior. Duplain has been a veteran on the offensive line, starting 23 games at left guard for the Spartans.
Can the support on homecoming weekend help Michigan State end its losing streak?
