Will Michigan State go 3-0 against Michigan under Mel Tucker? Perhaps, but at least fans know who’s going out for the coin toss in the Big House Saturday night.

The Spartans named WR Jayden Reed, OL Nick Samac, S Xavier Henderson and LB Jacoby Windmon captains for the Battle of the Paul Bunyan Trophy against the No. 4 Wolverines.

Since 2008, Michigan State has dominated series with a 10-4 record against its in-state rival.

Prior to the bye week, Reed totaled a season-high 9 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown en route to a 34-28 double-overtime victory against Wisconsin.

Samac is the veteran of the offensive line. A 3-year letterman, the Ohio native has played in over 30 games and has registered over a dozen starts in the last 2 years.

Henderson, a fellow native of Ohio, returned to action in the Spartans’ win over Wisconsin after being sidelined for 5 games with a leg injury.

Windmon started the season off as 1 of the nation’s top rushers, recording 5.5 sacks in the first 2 games. Since then, Windmon has consistently worked his way into the backfield, but has failed to register a sack.

Kickoff from Ann Arbor is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
