The Michigan State Spartans have announced their captains ahead of their Week 6 matchup with No. 3 Ohio State. The Spartans are coming off a tough 27-13 road loss to Maryland and have now lost 3 straight.

The list of captains includes senior tight end Tyler Hunt for the offense, junior safety Angelo Grose for the defense and sophomore long snapper Hank Pepper for special teams.

Hunt currently has 11 catches for 87 yards on the year, Grose had 17 solo tackles and 3 passes defended and Pepper has held long snapper duties for every game since being on campus.

The Spartans look to avoid losing four straight games for the first time since 2019, but face one of the top teams and offenses in the country. Michigan State was expected to be in contention with the Buckeyes for the B1G East title but that has hardly been the case so far.

The two teams will kickoff in East Lansing on Saturday at 4 p.m. EST on ABC.
