Michigan State has received a commitment from a preferred walk-on long snapper.
Tuesday afternoon, Michael Donovan announced his commitment to Michigan State. He will be a member of the Spartans’ incoming 2021 class. Donovan revealed his decision with a post on Twitter.

“First off I would like to Thank God for all of the blessing in my life. I also would like to thank my parents and my sibling for always supporting me through everything. This process has been tough and very long, but my family has been by my side the entire time,” Donovan wrote. “With this being said I’m blessed to announce my commitment to MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY. Go Green!”
According to Rubio Long Snapping, Donovan was assigned a 4.5 star rating.
Donovan is a Michigan native, hailing from Birmingham.
