Michigan State has nine players named to Senior Bowl watch list

The Senior Bowl is always an intriguing event at the end of the college football season.
For some players, it marks the last game of their football career. But for many, the game serves as an opportunity to work with and potentially impress NFL teams ahead of the draft. Many players have boosted their draft stock through workouts and interviews around the Senior Bowl.
This year, a number of B1G players are on the preseason watch list for the event, and Michigan State has a number of strong seniors on the roster. Among the Spartans on the watch list are all four recently announced captains and a handful of other strong players.

Here are the nine Spartans on the watch list:
- Brian Lewerke, QB
- Cole Chewins, OT
- Darrell Stewart, WR
- David Dowell, DS
- Joe Bachie, ILB
- Kenny Willekes, EDGE
- Mike Panasiuk, DT
- Raequan Williams, DT
- Tyler Higby, OG
