Michigan State hoops lands in top 5 for blue-chip center out of California

Michigan State cracked the top 5 for Class of 2024 big man Aiden Sherrell Saturday.

Sherrell, a fringe 4/5 star prospect in the Class of 2024, also announced a commitment date Saturday. Michigan State, Ohio State, Alabama, Texas and Oklahoma on August 13.

Sherrell stands at 6-11, 215 pounds and hails from Prolific Prep school in Napa, California. What stands out about him is his notable athleticism despite nearing 7-feet.

Sherrell is considered to be the No. 35 overall prospect in the Class of 2024 cycle, as well as the No. 6 center and No. 5 Player out of the state of California.

Michigan State currently holds 2 commitments in the 2024 cycle: 4-star SG Kur Teng and 3-star PF Jesse McCulloch.
