Michigan State students will have the first opportunity to get a look at the 2019 Spartans, as the program plans to host an open practice on April 9, a few days before the team’s spring game.
On Thursday, Michigan State issued a message to students announcing that the football team will have a “Football Showcase” that allows students to take in an open practice. The event also includes a tour of the facilities, free food and a meet and greet with players and coaches.

The event comes the same week of Michigan State’s Green and White Game, scheduled for Saturday, April 13. The annual spring scrimmage is open to the public.
Michigan State is coming off a 7-6 season and a trip to the Redbox Bowl. The Spartans are hoping to be a contender in the B1G East again in 2019.
