Michigan State lands 2024 commitment from Tennessee ATH

Michigan State is heading into a rivalry showdown this weekend and is still operating under interim head coach Harlon Barnett. However, the interim status did not deter one prospect from committing to the Spartans.
The player is Keshawn Williams, a 6-foot-1 and 178-pound athlete out of Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Williams has been a late riser, adding offers from Michigan State, Georgia Southern and others since the start of the spring.
“I also want to give a big thanks to Coach Barnett and the Michigan State family for allowing me to become a Spartan,” Williams wrote in his announcement.

Williams has not been rated by the 247 Sports Composite but has flashed versatility in high school as a defensive back and receiver. He’s a high school teammate of current Spartan commit Jaylen Thompson, a 3-star CB and the No. 12 player out of Tennessee for the cycle.
There is still a ways to go for MSU to wrap up the 2024 recruiting class, but it’s good to see Barnett and the staff pick up a pledge. Here is what Williams brings to the table via his Hudl highlights:
