Michigan State landed a commitment from 4-star running back Anthony Carrie Saturday evening. Carrie, who possesses an elite name for a running back, is the Spartans’ first RB commitment of the 2024 class.
He had an impressive list of offers, but Carrie chose the Spartans over major players such as North Carolina and South Carolina. Other offers that Carrie chose over include Georgia, Oklahoma, Miami, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Ohio State and USC, to name a few. He committed to MSU following an official visit to East Lansing Friday.
Carrie now represents Michigan State’s highest-rated recruit of the 2024 cycle (so far) following his commitment via Twitter Saturday.

Carrie averaged over 100 rushing yards per game at Carrollwood Day HS in Tampa, Florida. He also runs track at CDHS.
He’s a strong prospect, too. Carrie is considered to be the No. 273 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle, as well as the No. 22 RB and No. 43 prospect from the talent-rich state of Florida.
