Michigan State makes top 2 for DL prospect out of Georgia

Michigan State is gearing up for a strong Early Signing Period, and the Spartans are hoping for another commitment from a prospect out of Georgia.
Tuesday evening, Zion Young announced his top 2 programs. Michigan State made the cut alongside Missouri for the 2022 defensive lineman.

According to the composite rankings, Young is a 3-star DL and the No. 158 DL nationally for the cycle. Out of Michigan State’s 19 current commitments for the class of 2022, 4 already hail from the state of Georgia.
Michigan State’s current recruiting class ranks No. 19 nationally and is headlined by 4-star DL Alex VanSumeren. Michigan State will hope to add to that total during the Early Signing Period.
