Michigan State is the lone Big Ten team to make the top group for a 4-star defensive back out of Atlanta. Avieon Terrell has Mel Tucker’s Spartans in his top 5 alongside programs from the SEC and ACC.

MSU is joined by Auburn, Clemson, Kentucky and Texas A&M in Terrell’s top group.

Clemson may be hard to beat for Terrell, who is a Tiger legacy. Avieon’s brother A.J. Terrell was a 2-year starter at corner for Dabo Swinney’s program, earning All-ACC recognition before being drafted in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons.

Avieon, a Westlake product, has 18 scholarship offers, according to his 247Sports recruiting profile. Terrell is listed at 6-feet, 170 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 28 Georgia recruit, No. 31 cornerback and No. 284 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.
