Michigan State and Nebraska have plans to honor the memory of late punters Mike Sadler and Sam Foltz when the two teams meet in Lincoln on Saturday.
Tom Shatel of the Omaha World Herald reported the news that the two teams will honor the punters at this weekend’s game. Sadler and Foltz were tragically killed in a car accident on July 23, 2016.
Saturday will mark the first time the Spartans and Huskers have played since the accident.
Nebraska and Michigan State will honor Sam Foltz and Mike Sadler during a pre-game ceremony on Saturday involving the head coaches, parents of Foltz and Sadler and specialists of both teams. It's the first meeting between NU and MSU since Foltz and Sadler died on July 23, 2016.

According to Shatel, there will be a pre-game ceremony involving both teams, as well as head coaches Mark Dantonio and Scott Frost. The parents of Sadler and Foltz will also be involved.
Sadler and Foltz died in a car accident while returning from a kicking camp held in Wisconsin. There were several ceremonies that took place for both programs to honor the two punters throughout the 2016 season.
Michigan State and Nebraska are scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
