Luke Campbell was a 3-star recruit out of the state of Ohio in the class of 2016. He was outside the top 700 recruits nationally, by the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 30 player in the state. He got offers from Big Ten programs in Michigan State, Purdue, and Maryland, but the Buckeyes never called with a scholarship.
