In what is certain to be a clash of styles in the Holiday Bowl, Michigan State has been tabbed as a slim underdog against Washington State.
Monday, Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press tweeted that the Spartans have been picked as a 3-point underdog for the game. The line came via Wynn Las Vegas sports book.
MSU actually is a 3-point UNDERDOG to Washington State, per @WynnLasVegas sports book. (You would think the new $400 old-man lenses could see which team the -3 was next to). That's on me.

Michigan State has been known for its stout defense this season and has shut down several offensive teams throughout the year. But Washington State has a high-powered attack and can light up the scoreboard.
The Cougars own the best passing offensive in the Pac-12, averaging nearly 375 yards per game. Only two teams have been able to throw with a ton of success against the Spartans this season, as only Northwestern and Penn State racked up more than 300 yards this season.
The Holiday Bowl is scheduled for Dec. 29 and will kickoff at 9 p.m. ET.
