Michigan State wide receiver Nick Marsh will start Friday night’s game against No. 6 Oregon after missing the Spartans’ Sept. 21 game against Boston College and playing limited snaps last week against Ohio State.

According to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Marsh practiced all week and is expected to be “full-go” when the Spartans take on the Ducks.

The Spartans are coming off a 38-7 loss to Ohio State at home in Week 5. Marsh was limited to 2 catches for 30 yards in that game.

After busting out in a major way in the Spartans’ win at Maryland on Sept. 7, Marsh was injured in the following game against Prairie View A&M and left the game early.

The 6-foot-3 freshman from Detroit has 13 receptions for 262 yards and a touchdown so far. That score came on a 77-yard catch and run in the fourth quarter against Maryland, tying the game at 24-24 with 4:11 to play. MSU went on to kick the game-winning field goal with 1 second left on the clock. Marsh finished with 8 receptions for 194 yards that day.

That was also quarterback Aidan Chiles’ best game as a starter thus far for Michigan State. The Oregon State transfer threw for a career-best 363 yards and 3 touchdowns in the game. He has topped 200 yards through the air only 1 other time this season.

Oregon has been exceptional defending the pass this season. The Ducks rank ninth nationally in passing success rate allowed and 12th in EPA per dropback allowed, per Game on Paper. The Ducks are 1 of only 12 teams that have yet to allow a single pass play of more than 40 yards this year, and they’ve only given up 7 passes of 20 yards or more.

The Ducks are a massive favorite in the game. ESPN Bet opened at 24.5 points in favor of the Ducks and has settled at 23.5 with kickoff approaching.

Oregon (4-0, 1-0 B1G) and Michigan State (3-2, 1-1) kick off Friday night at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
