Michigan State reveals military-themed threads for Armed Forces Classic

Michigan State revealed its threads Thursday for the Armed Forces Classic on Friday against Gonzaga.
The uniforms pay homage to the US Military with a grey and black digicamo design. Gonzaga will wear similar uniforms, but in a lighter shade and including some of Gonzaga’s signature red and blue colors.

This year’s game will be one of the most unique games in college basketball this season due to its location – the game will be played on an aircraft carrier.
It is the first time since 2012 that the game will be played on an air craft carrier, this time on the USS Lincoln. Michigan State also played in the 2012 game, losing to UConn.
The Spartans opened up their season Monday against Northern Arizona with a 73-55 win.
