After getting arrested Wednesday due to driving with a suspended license, Michigan State running back LJ Scott will play Saturday against the Indian Hoosiers.

“In what has been a lengthy process, LJ Scott now has a valid driver’s license, free of any restrictions,” Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said in a statement on Friday. “He has resolved the matter completely and has paid a price, both financially and publicly. His status will be affected for Saturday’s game, but he will play.”

Scott is Michigan State’s leading rusher with 83 carries for 408 yards and three touchdowns. The Spartans host the Hoosiers on Saturday.
