Michigan State target, Payton Kirkland, announces finalists and commitment date

Payton Kirkland of Orlando, Florida set his commitment date and released his finalists from his social media account on July 17. He is a beast at OT, coming in at 6-foot-4, 345 pounds.

Kirkland goes to Dr. Phillips High School and is listed as a 4-star OT per the 247Sports Composite. He will be picking from Alabama, Michigan State, Florida, Miami, and Oklahoma on July 23 from 6-10 p.m. ET. 247Sports predicts that he is leaning towards the Spartans. Kirkland is the No. 25 OT, and the No. 57 Florida recruit from the 2023 class.

Michigan State has been killing it so far with the 2023 class. Another big time recruit could be heading to East Lansing if the predictions come true.
