Michigan State football released its uniform combo in a Halloween-themed hype video for Week 9’s Paul Bunyan Trophy showdown with No. 4 Michigan.

The Spartans are going with white helmets, jerseys, pants and cleats for an iced-out combo with green print for the in-state rivalry. The white helmet also features a nice Sparty logo in green outline that really stands out.

The Spartans previously ended its four-game losing streak in Week 7 when they defeated Wisconsin in double overtime 34-28 before heading into a bye.

Michigan State will now come out of the bye 3-4 and hoping to upset the 7-0 Wolverines. Michigan leads the all-time series 71-38-5, but the Spartans have bested them in each of the past 2 contests. Last year, Michigan State rallied from 16 down to win the game 37-33 behind Kenneth Walker III’s 5 touchdowns.

The two teams are on completely different paths this season. While the Wolverines are looking to keep playoff hopes alive, the Spartans are just fighting to gain bowl eligibility in a disappointing season. All of that, however, can be thrown out the window with in-state bragging rights on the line.
