Michigan State unveils uniform combination for Rutgers game

No. 11 Michigan State will aim to improve its record to 6-0 when it travels to face B1G opponent Rutgers in Week 6. Michigan State is coming off a 48-31 victory vs. Western Kentucky.
Michigan State currently sits atop the B1G East.

Michigan State will wear white jerseys with green helmets and green pants.
Michigan State is 2-0 in conference play, with a 38-21 victory at Northwestern in Week 1 and a 23-20 overtime win vs. Nebraska in Week 4. After the game at Rutgers, Michigan State has three games against ranked opponents the rest of the season: Oct. 30 vs. No. 9 Michigan, Nov. 20 at No. 11 Ohio State, and Nov. 27 vs. No. 4 Penn State.
Rutgers is on a two-game losing streak. After a narrow 20-13 defeat at Michigan, Rutgers was routed 52-13 by visiting Ohio State.
Michigan State leads the all-time series 8-4 vs. Rutgers. Rutgers won last season’s meeting 38-27 at Michigan State.
