The Spartans got off to a really slow start against the Wolverines but they were able to find their stride when it mattered most. Down 30-22 going into the 4th, the Spartans outscored the Wolverines 15-3 to win 37-33.
Kenneth Walker III had his best game of the season and continued to make a push for potentially winning the Heisman Trophy. He finished with 23 carries for 197 yards and 5 touchdowns, the last of which turned out to be the game-winner. It was Walker’s 5th 100+ yard game on the ground as well.
Tucker’s defense sealed it at the end with an interception off Cade McNamara with a couple of minutes remaining.
Could Tucker get this award again if his squad takes down Ohio State or Penn State later on in the season?
