Michigan defeated Ohio State on Saturday to secure their 4th-straight win in The Game. It was an intense game that came down to a field goal with less than a minute remaining.

This is the first time in over 30 years that the Wolverines have won four in a row over their archrivals. The Game is always contentious and tempers flared after the game as a massive brawl between teams broke out. The Wolverines attempted to plant their flag at midfield, which the Buckeyes took exception to.

After everybody left the field, the Wolverines’ social media team wasn’t done trolling. The team responded to a post by the Buckeyes that posted the final score with a red “X” in place of Michigan’s “M.” The Wolverines replied with a yellow “M,” getting under the skin of Buckeye fans in the comments.

Notably, the team posted 4 M’s, signifying the amount of times the Wolverines have won consecutively.

The Wolverines will now end the regular season with a 7-5 record. The Buckeyes, meanwhile, end with a 10-2 record. The Buckeyes now await their fate and can still technically make the Big Ten Championship Game if Penn State and Indiana both lose.

This game went exactly how the Wolverines wanted it to go. The team relied heavily on the ground game, with Kalel Mullings rushing for 116 yards and 1 touchdown. Davis Warren threw for just 62 passing yards, but a strong defensive performance helped the Wolverines stay in the game.

The Wolverines already secured a bowl berth, but now the team gets to celebrate another win over their hated rival.
