The Jumpman era began with a bang.
In front of a raucous crowd, Michigan finally unveiled their long-awaited Nike Air Jordan gear. The ground-breaking $173.8 million deal officially began at midnight, which made Michigan the first football program to ever use Air Jordan apparel.
Here’s a look at some of the gear that was available for purchase at the grand opening at M Den:

No, it wasn’t the football jerseys yet. Those will be unveiled at an invitation-only event in Detroit on Tuesday. The jerseys will go on sale at M Den locations and MDen.com beginning on Aug. 6 at 9 a.m.
Jim Harbaugh was still on hand to take in the excitement on Sunday night:

Unfortunately for Michigan fans, MDen.com crashed within minutes of the unveiling but that should only be a temporary issue.
Stay tuned this week for football-specific unveilings.
