If Ambry Thomas has made up his mind about staying at Michigan or heading to the NFL, he’s not revealing it until after the Citrus Bowl.

Thomas met with reporters this week and was asked if he has thought about his future after this season. The junior defensive back said his focus right now is on Alabama and the Citrus Bowl, and isn’t thinking about making a decision just yet.

“I’m not thinking about that right now,” Thomas said. “If I did come to a decision, it would be after this game. …I’m not thinking about that right now. I’m here right now, that’s all that matters.”

Thomas registered 34 tackles, four pass break-ups and three interceptions for the Wolverines this season. He had a season-high six tackles on Nov. 23 against Indiana.

Michigan finished the 2019 season with a 9-3 record and is looking to hit 10 wins for the fourth time in five seasons under Jim Harbaugh. Thomas and the rest of the Wolverines defense will have their hands full keeping the Alabama receivers in check.
