Michigan’s athletic department releases updated COVID-19 results

The Michigan Athletic Department has released its updated results for it COVID-19 test screenings.

On Friday, the department sent out a release that included its latest results. The most recent tests were conducted on July 20-21, with 94 tests administered in those two days. Of that group, there were four who tested positive for the virus.

In total, Michigan’s athletic department has tested a total of 729 student-athletes, staff and coaches who have returned to campus in Ann Arbor. A total of 13 individuals have had positive results since the screenings began.

According to the release, 559 student-athletes have been tested and 12 have seen positive results. There have been 170 coaches and staff who have been screened, and only one has received a positive test.

Michigan has updated its numbers every week.
